The Brush y Canyons Chapter serves Medina, Uvalde, and Kinney Counties, a region known for its remarkable natural diversity. From the rolling Texas Hill Country in the north to the South Texas Plains in the south, and with six rivers flowing through our three-county service area, our region is home to an incredible variety of native plants, wildlife, and ecosystems.
Established in 2022, our chapter is growing quickly and is committed to promoting conservation, education, and community engagement. We celebrated the completion of our fourth Master Naturalist certification class in the spring of 2026 and continue to expand our impact through volunteer service and partnerships.
We are proud to partner with organizations that help protect and showcase our region’s natural resources, including Garner State Park, Kickapoo Cavern State Park, El Progreso Memorial Library, Lost Maples State Natural Area, and Uvalde National Fish Hatchery.
