Mikal "Red" McMillin

Mikal McMillin, known as "Red," is a cowboy, poet, and storyteller with the Alianza Raíces Vivas team. With Scottish roots and a passion for the traditions of the American West, Red came to Texas to apprentice under vaquero David Casillas, studying the charro tradition and its influence on the modern cowboy. Through poetry, song, and storytelling, he shares the authentic experiences, history, and enduring legacy of life in the saddle.
